Commercial Use License

This license entitles you to use the Folk Art Designs graphics to create web sets, and other digital items for resale. (If you are using the graphics to make a physical product to sell at craft shows or craft malls, you do not need to purchase this license - this is for digital and printed products only.) All licensed users must still abide by the Terms of Use. This commercial use license is not transferable and cannot be resold to your clients. If your clients will be reselling your digital items (that include any of our graphics), they too must purchase a commercial use license from Folk Art Designs.

The digital items covered by this license include:

web sets, web sites, templates
scrapbooking layouts (1.)
eBay templates
blog templates
sig tags
avatars
banners
email stationery
desktop wallpaper and desktop themes
digital embroidery files (2.)
Cafe Press or Zazzle.com items sold on the Internet (3.)
Printables on Craftsuprint.com, or similar website

Exclusions: You may not resell any of the graphics individually or as a part of a collection (you must make something with them). The sets MUST be a completed layout and only the graphics required to make the layout or template can be included. Banners and wallpapers must be sold as a merged file. If you will be resizing the graphics, they must be constrained properly.

Copyright Notice: Each digital file must contain a text file that is included with the product that includes the following copyright notice:

The graphics used to make this set item are copyright © Folk Art Designs at www.folkartdesigns.com and may not be redistributed or reproduced in any way. By purchasing this item, you are agreeing to abide by the licensing requirements that these graphics shall not be resold or shared.

If a text file is not possible due to the nature of the product (such as printable and craftsuprint.com items), please place a small credit notice such as "Graphics Copyright © Folk Art Designs, www.folkartdesigns.com" on the product image that is downloaded (in a place where it will not interfere with the design).

The minimum text size for any copyright notice is 8 pixels.

Credit Notice: You MUST also place a credit link back to Folk Art Designs, www.folkartdesigns.com on your website and the client's website.

The copyright and credit notice requirement will be strictly enforced. If proper credit is not given, your license will be revoked.

(1.) Scrapbooking Sets: You may NOT sell scrapbooking kits that only contain various individual graphics with matching backgrounds or place the graphics on a white background and sell or give them away as decopauge sheets, sticker sheets or as single embellishments. The graphics must be used to make something new and merged. Each set must also contain a clear copyright notice: "Graphics Copyright © Folk Art Designs, www.folkartdesigns.com" printed on the digital file if downloaded individually or included in a zip file. Mass production of the sets is not allowed under this license (mass production is defined as professionally printed and packaged).

(2.) Digital Embroidery Files: The file must be in a digital embroidery format. You may include a small, low quality jpg sample of the graphic with your file and must include this text file:

By purchasing this file, you are agreeing to abide by the licensing requirements that this graphic shall not be resold or shared.

(3.) Cafe Press/Zazzle Items: You may use the graphics to create designs for things you sell at Cafe Press. A Commercial Use License is required, as well as a credit link back to Folk Art Designs at www.folkartdesigns.com.

Kinfolk Crafts reserves the right to amend or revise this license at any time.
